Crystals

So lets get into Crystals, The glorious beautiful pieces of earth that have been formed by elements. You’re probably thinking “Chelsea I need more than that!” I am not a scientist, I would love to get all scientifical but this is my version of crystals. I was able to look up a definition for the term Crystals, What I found online is crystals are “a piece of a homogeneous solid substance having a natural geometrically regular form with symmetrically arranged plane faces.” My definition would be crystals are beautiful glorious hidden gems, magical, and healing. How did I come across crystals? I would like to say around the summer of 2019 is when I tipped toe into spirituality. That topic will be posted later on in life probably when I am thirty years old (Not Kidding!) I don’t remember my very first crystal ( I own a beautiful collection) but I remember the crystals that were given as gifts. I have always had a soft spot for little objects such as if someone gives me a crystal, my heart burst into happiness. I have been given a strawberry quartz shaped heart, selenite tower, amethyst, abundance green stone and rose quartz as gifts.

If you ever stepped inside my salon suite you might see crystal rocks, agate coasters and hidden selenite towers. I wouldn’t say I’m an expert at knowing all the crystal names, origin’s or benefits. The couple of crystals that I am familiar with are listed down below. I was able to pick up a book written by Lisa Butterworth called “The Beginner’s Guide to Crystals”.  I love this book it lists all the crystals, goes in-depth of description, where to place, and key benefits. I picked up this book at a local store called Rock’s Paradise. My favorite crystals are :

Desert Rose- aids with anxiety, protection and clarity.

Labradorite – aids with intuition, creativity, and spiritual awakening.

Lapis Lazuli- aids with truth, confidence, and contentment.

Rose Quartz- aids with love, peace, acceptance, self-love, and divine love.

Selenite- aids with clearing energy in the room, calms , and alignment.

I personally noticed that during certain times, I was drawn to certain crystals (healing crystals). Whenever I would walk inside a metaphysical shop, I would grab some sage but most importantly whatever crystal caught my eye I would buy. I would either google what the crystal would help aid with or look inside “The Beginner’s Guide to Crystals”. If I could suggest any crystal to buy it would be Selenite, Selenite is the Ultimate of all crystals.
